Snorkeling

Ask for extra equipment if needed. The beach has 20 meters of flat before plunging gently down into forests of coral. Endless distractions.

Spice Trek

A gentle walk through nearby plantations to see and taste Nutmeg, Mace, Cloves etc.

Kota Saparua

Go on Wednesday to see the vibrant market. 40 minutes away by taxi.

Caves

A short walk to a series of two caves with cool fresh water. Best seen with an underwater torch.

Itawaka

Half day trip in a speedboat to a spectacular snorkling location where there is ancient coral, abundant fish of all sizes and turtles are often seen.

Rumah Kay

Half day trip. 1/2 hour by speedboat to Pulau Seram, and a gentle trek through ancient forest up to an enormous waterfall deep in the jungle. At the base of the waterfall there is a rejuvenating pool to refresh in.
